Sometimes you just don’t want to get a lot of attention. Sometimes you just want to submerge into the crowd. Hide in plain sight. Although I never seem to grasp this concept, so here is my guide on how to achieve the most badass military look.
One of the most important things is colour. Joke’s on me, ’cause you already know which colour I’m talking about: Black. Black, a bit black and just a teeny tiny bit more black. Simple. Now the next important thing is to match the colours. Already done, we wore all black. Next, you have to get that military vibe, because as you all know, nothing looks more badass than a stealth plane.
And yes, I do know, that writing about a military look is all about jumping on that Yeezy-Hypetrain, but sometimes you just have to give into the urge. You know, I’ve always found military related things looking really badass and well designed. There’s just something about those sharp edges and bold silhouettes. One can easily separate the aesthetic aspects from the political, just saying.
For me, my personal militaristic look consists of an Oversized Hoodie, some standard issue Levis 519 Extreme Skinny Jeans to name the basics. Furthermore I’m wearing an Oversized Military Bomber Jacket with Drop Shoulders and an Oversized Poncho, utilised as a scarf. To top it all off I put on my 1461 Dr. Martens, to get that military vibe to the max.
